About the Union

SCOPE OF ACTIVITIES OF THE TRADE UNION

The scope of activities of the Trade Union includes relations arising from the provision and further improvement of legal, social, and informational support for professional football players, as well as the development and promotion of football in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

OBJECTIVES OF THE TRADE UNION

1. Representation and protection of the rights and legitimate interests of professional football players;
2. Coordination of joint activities of the members (participants) of the Trade Union;
3. Submitting proposals aimed at improving social protection, social and medical insurance of professional football players, as well as matters related to their medical care;
4. Participation in the development of regulatory provisions governing the activities of professional football players as participants in competitions;
5. Conducting collective bargaining, signing agreements and collective contracts on behalf of the members (participants) of the Trade Union;
6. Participation in the resolution of collective labor disputes;
7. Creating conditions for training, retraining, and professional development of workers and members (participants) of the Trade Union;
8. Exercising control over employers’ and officials’ compliance with labor legislation, including matters related to employment contracts, working hours and rest periods, remuneration, guarantees and compensations, benefits and entitlements, as well as other socio-labor issues in organizations employing Trade Union members (participants);
9. Organizing and conducting friendly matches involving Trade Union members (participants), as well as exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and other events aimed at fulfilling the Union’s goals and objectives;
10. Participation in resolving individual labor disputes involving professional football players, including participation in the legal bodies of the Kazakhstan Football Federation (KFF) dealing with disputes between professional football players and other football entities;
11. Providing advisory, legal, and financial assistance to Trade Union members (participants);
12. Engaging in mediation and intermediary activities in football.

Since September 19, 2022, the Kazakhstan Football Players' Union has been a member of the Kazakhstan Football Federation.

Since July 1, 2025, the Kazakhstan Football Players' Union has been a member of the Kazakhstan Sectoral Trade Union of Workers of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Information.
